Martin Patino

Martin Patiño

Somewhere between electronic, classical and experimental music, we find Martin Patino, an eclectic producer who knows no boundaries.

Born in Italy but with Peruvian roots, Martin lets his music free to absorb different elements from South American culture, experimental works from the 20th century, classic impressionism and Oliver Sacks's neuroscience of music.

His various releases on famous labels such as Cadenza, Freerange, Madhouse, Be as One, Trapez, Suara, Mbf Ltd and Rotary Cockail contributed to the creation of a solid and respectable discography, ranging from deep house to chill-out, including elements from techno music and experimental structures. His sounds, and especially his unique LIVE show (that features a real cactus, played with a violin bow), reached world-renowed clubs like Watergate (Berlin), Propaganda (Moskow), D-Edge (Sao Paolo) or the Brooklyn Mirage (New York).

"Mindgames" on Suara Records, the beatless "Make Love” on Freerange or "Hunter" on Cadenza Records represent just some of the works that do not respect any stylistic trend and are destined to become timeless pearls.
